Your Blog, Our Blog, The Sailing Blog

Blue Sky Sailing Club (http://www.blueskysailing.org/) is a not-for-profit group of volunteers that provides its members the affordable opportunity to learn/participate in the earth-friendly sport of sailing and comradeship with fellow enthusiasts. We are not a yacht club. Learn to sail or join us just for the fun of it.

This blog is for us. It is here to record our sailing adventures and stories on Lake Nipissing and beyond. Read, comment, and enjoy. If you would like to contribute to the blog with an original post--email the club your story and we'll approve it for publishing.

"An Order of EPIC All Dressed Please"

Here's what she looks with her christening dress on. Cute isn't she. She'll have to go out for a dancing lesson before the party. Thanks Henry for trouble shooting the rigging. We are looking to starting our Group sailing Monday evening June 20. This is open to all registered Full and Social members. Groups sailings are held every Monday Evening and Saturday when the weather permits. We are hoping to get the Coronado into the water this weekend and then there will be another Workshop to get her ready as she is a completely different type of boat.

Send a email to bmailto:blueskysailingclub@gmail.com if you are coming out this Monday night. We'll meet at 6:00pm at the north gate into the Marina. Prepare to tack!

Remember that all group sailings require a flat fee of $10/participant (cash at the event). These fees goes towards paying our operating expenses as these boats are purchased, maintained and operated by your club.
